It’s all good Kimberly. I’m publishing all my future paid trainings on my Substack now. If you want them, consider becoming a paid subscriber. On the bright side, it’s cheaper than ever to get my best trainings. Okay, that’s enough self-promotion for now. :)

Interesting. I definitely had to “unlearn” some of the writing habits/style I developed in college. Academic writing is definitely different than blogging!

Don’t look for ideas everywhere.

Make the use of what you already have.

So next time you are confused about what to post, start:

—Talking about your experience

—Sharing your recent win

—Disclosing your lesson

—Sharing your story

That’s how you build TRUST, and trust ultimately leads to building authority.

Start leveraging it and incorporating it into a story.

Why?

Because stories sell like crazy.

Know that the ideas come naturally from your daily activities, once you aim to start leveraging them properly.

I‘m also guilty of having the boring headlines you write of.

For me, maybe also for the others, it was mostly about having searchable headlines. Basically optimising for search engines. If I write a guide for solving a particular problem, I want to be straight to the point. People that come from search engines don‘t want my life story.

That‘s at least my thinking.

For me, these more personal notes were more for people who already have a considerable following.
